Biography

Dr. Al-Khowarizmi, S.Kom., M.Kom  a son who is born in 1992 in Medan, Indonesia who has completed his final education at the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) in the Computer Science Doctoral Program in 2023. At the beginning of his life journey he was active as an IT practitioner in Sumatera Utara Province and has become an expert in several Regencies/Districts/City. However, along with his decision to serve at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) he is active in carrying out the “tri dharma” in the field of education such as taking courses in artificial intelligence and data mining, conducting research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, data mining, Neural Networks and Machine Learning which were published in journals and conferences both national and international, as well as doing community service. Currently, in accordance with the mandate given, he is currently holding the position of Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FIKTI) at UMSU for the 2021-2025 period. In addition, he is also active in association activities such as holding the position of Deputy Chairperson of IPKIN Sumatera Utara Branch.
